Latin Grammy-winning, all-female group Flor de Toloache mixes tradition and innovation, breaking boundaries with their edgy, versatile, and fresh take on traditional Latin American music. This talented New York ensemble casts a spell over their audiences with soaring vocals and physical elegance. Their diverse ethnicities and musical backgrounds transcend culture and gender by forging new paths. The group has graced international stages from Mexico to Japan and has extensively toured the USA, Europe and Latin America. With a total of five studio albums to date, Flor de Toloache recently released Motherflower, described by the artists as a mosaic of genres inspired by mariachi, "with a feminist charge felt like never before."
Nueva Luna is a music project featuring Lara Manzanares, Felix Peralta, and Rob Martínez performing New Mexican music and original sounds. Lara Manzanares is an award-winning bilingual singer-songwriter of Northern New Mexican heritage, while Felix "Gato" Peralta, lead singer and guitarist for Felix y Los Gatos, has toured and recorded with many Grammy Award-winning artists, including John Popper of Blues Traveler, Raul Pacheco of Ozomatli, and Michael Franti. Rob Martínez is a historian and a folk musician, performing and promoting New Mexican Hispanic musical traditions for the past twenty years with his brother Lorenzo and their father Roberto Martinez in the group Los Reyes de Albuquerque.
